Méribel is a traditional village with a modern infrastructure, which has successfully developed while retaining its soul and traditions through its chalet-style architecture, lending the resort its unique and world-renowned cachet. It is the ideal destination for smaller groups of up to 100 people, for one-day workshops or longer stays. Méribel is a dynamic resort which hosts major national and international events: 2014 World MTB Cup, 2015 World Cup Ski Finals, 2020 Europa Cup Alpine Skiing, 2020 Tour de France, and the 2023 World Ski Championships, plus several French championships in cross-country and biathlon skiing. In winter, Méribel is at the heart of the world’s largest ski area, les 3 Vallées. Thanks to its 600km of slopes linked via 15 summits over 2,500m, Méribel offers every type of snow sport possible: skiing, off-piste, cross-country, snowshoeing, boarding etc, in varied landscapes. In summer, Méribel offers a multitude of activities including cycling (road, MTB, E-bikes) and an 18-hole golf course in an exceptional setting. During the ‘inter-seasons’ of spring and autumn, Méribel welcomes you for back-to-nature stays or sports training courses thanks to its excellent infrastructure, especially the Olympic ice-rink.
