Tobogganing sessions with family or friends are the highlight of a ski holiday. And that’s why, in Méribel, we celebrate sledging in all its forms!

In order to offer a maximum of choice and to adapt to everyone’s level, sledge runs have been specially designed for the pleasure of sledgers in Méribel.

The older ones will be able to run at full speed on tracks of several lengths, while the youngest ones will discover sledging in free and secure areas.

Discover the 3 areas dedicated to sledging in Méribel

Are you looking for a sledge run full of turns to experience a maximum of sensations? Then take a sledge with metal brakes and put on your helmet to discover :

  • Mission Black Forest, a 3.4km long run with a 470m drop consisting of 28 turns through the forest.

On the other hand, if you are looking for a free and safe sledging area to sled with young children, then you can enjoy :

  • La luge du Doron, a safe toboggan-only track to slide down a gentle slope and back up again thanks to the free carpet.
  • The Altiport sledging area, a safe area designed for young children, who can have fun without worrying their parents.

Organise your sledging session in Méribel

To sled in complete safety, buy or hire the appropriate equipment from the resort’s shops: helmet, gloves and sled with metal brakes. For the little ones, baby sleds are also available. With the right equipment, all you have to do is enjoy your descent!

Do I need a lift pass to enjoy the sledging areas in Méribel?

Only the Missions Black Forest runs require the purchase of a ski pass. The price varies according to the number of descents you wish to make. On the other hand, for the Doron luge and the Altiport luge area, the access is free.
