Today, the Piraillet family is in upheaval!

Carole is preparing to leave her parents and her native mountain to live out her dream of becoming an actress in Paris.

While her mother is busy sewing her inner pockets to protect her from the thieves who plague the capital, her father tries in vain to dissuade her, depicting in his own way the insignificance of Parisian life.

For Carole, it’s the promise of a new life, and a very important deadline: she has to pass a casting call to star in a film alongside Jean Dujardin! While her mother already has glitter in her eyes at the idea of seeing her at the top of the bill, her father, anchored in his rural roots, loves neither Parisians nor the cinema… Who is Jean Dujardin anyway?

And since nothing ever goes according to plan, things quickly get out of hand, and these “so ordinary” parents reveal themselves in a whole new light. What if the greatest talents of French cinema

lived under our own roof?
