He generously invites his entire audience on a trip to Perpète-lès-Oies, yet keeps both feet firmly on the ground in Des poux qui rendent fou, or evokes harassment in Il faut le dire aux gens. A perennial observer of children's daily lives, he ironizes the overload of weekly activities in Moi je dis stop! and, without ever losing his trademark sense of humor, he invents a general obedience holiday which, to disappoint no one, officially falls on St. Ginglin's Day.
